Frugal Install of Wary 5.5 updating Wary 5.3 on two (2) Pentium 3 desktop PC's, (550 MHz Celeron & 866 MHz Coppermine) Wary 5.5 iso file download md5sum checks OK. ISO image burn to DVD tested OK. Both PC's have INTEL motherboards with 512 MB Ram (maximum memory supported by MB). Tried using the menu button on the taskbar to shutdown. No response to any of the poweroff / reboot / etc. selections. Present work-around is to wait 3-5 minutes after selecting power-off, then open console window, type poweroff <return>. |
