Google Earth
Apologize if this is a non issue but when I tried to install Google Earth in the current released Precise Puppy (5.4.3) it had a dependency for lsb-core. When I went to install lsb-core it required hundred or more dependencies with several hundred MB download. Is this still the case and is there a more sane install method?

I've been down this road with Google Earth many times... The 'best fix' for the Google Earth thing is to go get this .sfs version. It works great in Precise puppy and is easy to install (or should I say load) I believe it's around 38MB if memory serves me correct?
I added the /etc/choice/lib/ld-lsb.so.3 (link)
added /lib/ld-lsb.so.3 (link)
Downloaded and installed the latest google-earth-stable_current_i386.deb (from google).
Ran /opt/google/earth/free/googleearth
Hey what do you know Googleearth came up and ran just fine.
You are my hero for the day ... and a very very sane dude.

You're welcome texpup!
At the bottom of this post is the URL in the forum to download my little cloud .pet for puppy. It also works very nice in Precise but, when in my thread read down through it and you will find a very nice 'fast' google earth to add to it. Works good when in a hurry or you want to see some other feathers like 'terrain' etc,.
