VGA configurtion problem on wary 5.2

#1 Post by tradix »

Hi, I have just installe wary 5.2 on the asus eee pc 701 4G and I am trying to run the VGA_Utility tool to change screen size from the actual 800x480 to 1024x768 and run the panning tool. The .deb file seemed to install correctly and there appear to be no dependency problems but when I try to run the program I get this:
"error while loading shared libraries . libQTgui.so.4: cannot open shared object file. No such file or directory".

Can anyone help me to on this?

Many thanks in advance.

hey tradix

can't help with the above but there is a couple of eee specific builds you might like to try

here: http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/Pu ... uppeee1.0/

also legacy os was built by john biles for his eee too

qt dependencies apparently are missing... such trying another pkg... asto 1024 thingy... try running xorgwizard from shell... might solve resolution with pup's defaults.
