PuppEX 2013 5.4 32bit is a remaster of Puppy Linux Slacko 5.4, released on December 1, 2012. The original kernel 3.2.33 is used when running the system live, but if you install PuppEX to hard drive, you can use "my" own compiled kernel 3.7.9-exton instead. PuppEX 2013 uses, like the original Puppy Slacko, JVM, Fvwm95 and IceWM as desktop interface. In PuppEX there are, however, elements of Xfce4, such as the file manager Thunar and Terminal. These programs are more useful than ROX-Filer respectively RXVT, I think. The ISO file is on the whole 209 MB, which is due to me including the extra kernel 3.7.9, Thunar, Terminal, Vlc and Gimp. Slacko 5.4 is of 162 MB. PuppEX is despite this still running as fast as the original Puppy, which means it runs very, very fast compared to most other Linux systems.
Kernel 3.7.9 is the latest available stable kernel (as of 130227).

I got it working, but it couldn't find my soundcard unfortunately.
