Windows apps, suddenly, stopped opening with mouse click!

I have installed 6 windows applications which opened fine with a single click (of the exe file or its shortcut on my desktop) in my puppy 5.4.
Till today! Now they open only if I right-click and choose 'run with' and then 'wine'.
What happened? How can I fix it?

Edit: Ok, I discovered the problem: I had installed Notepad++, and it had replaced the run action of every exe with a command showing as target the Notepad++.exe.
I uninstalled Notepad++.exe and everything looks ok.
