How to to use keyboard connected to laptop PS/2 port?

#1 Post by hom3land »

I've installed wary puppy on an old laptop. This laptop has keys that don't register (replaced the keypad, and these keys still aren't working) so, trying to use another keyboard instead of the laptops onboard version. I can tell it gets power as there is a light on for num lock, but its not recognizing they key inputs. I don't see anywhere in the settings to set the keyboard to be the external one. Suggestions/help?

wary puppy 5.3
hardware
compaq presario 2100

Thanks in advance
