Here is my take to the latest jwm-716. I changed in source code the window close button cursor to use cursor type CURSOR_DEFAULT.

jwm-716/src/cursor.c

Code: Select all

case BA_CLOSE:
      return cursors[CURSOR_DEFAULT];
I also hunted 01micko`s jwmconfig2 for these newer jwm versions. I only added scrollable property to the theme_switcher. Originally addition created by Radky.

This is a request for intel atom netbook owners who has intel atom gma graphics needing this new modesetting_drv.so driver to get proper resolution.
Other than those intel atom and intel gma graphics netbook owners, please dont install the pet. You can get black screen after X restart.

I have petted the latest ubuntu modesetting_drv.so version 0.70. It is newer than what I compiled from source. I had version 0.6.0.

The attached pet overwrites the existing driver. So If you want to test...install the pet, restart X and you see if it works.

I would like to get report, if I can update and use ubuntu .deb instead of my own compile.

One bug to report:
Shinobar's SFS on the fly software has a bug. Clicking on 'Unload'
button to unload sfs packages results in a black screen that
I can't exit.

Generally a nice puppy - very low resource usage and very fast. Most of the basics working ok. WP works but not nice, eg: select, copy and paste, appearance etc.

Uptime = nearly 5 days and no major showstoppers.

Back to the civilisation.
Several things to do.
New woof download. Gtk3 theme support. Test build and cups printing testing. Other things to check.

There has been tons of new woof commits and the effect need to be checked.

I will be back.

Hi pemasu,
here's a little weirdness the browser demonstrates in this build. Open the browser - it takes you to Seamonkey home page. Do nothing, close it. Reopen - and it will bring up "file:///usr/share/doc/home.htm". Why is this? Not a big deal and I'd not even have mentioned it, if there wasn't a bigger issue. Seamonkey hates youtube. It stutters on every youtube video, I've tried.

Anikin. Side effect from my swapping to the official seamonkey so that seamonkey is on the update channel. The official home page pops up in the first launch. It is lurking there somewhere.

Just take it as small quirky feature.

First test build. Cups prints. Gtk3 theme support works. Abiword, Gnumeric and Audacious looks great. 96 dpi shows some hiccup. I need to fix leafpad, gtkdialog-splash. I have tried to fix all my jwm themes.

New setup in PPM works. Vlc and Smplayer has right theme and font with Barry`s Trolltech hack.

F2fs installer included works. No multi boot choice. Upgrading syslinux causes too much headache, especially with fat32, I would need to include mtools and I dont want to start to strip that package to essentials. Let it be with Barry`s no-mtools syslinux...which means they are statically build in somehow. There is just too many ways to install that I can test them all.

Jwm-716 tray might need some tuning, later....

Looks good. New woof processing and it might be there.....
