I am calling this thread "Really?"

#1 Post by puppyluvr »

:D Hello,
OK, I want to create a thread with the really simple things I never see posted cause, um duh?
For us lazy guys, for the obvious overlooked, for the fun of it...

#1.. Almost anything can be opened by dropping it on a Browser window,
IE Firefox, Seamonkey etc..
Flash, PDF, Text, Scripts, an amazing amount of things...
Open a new tab, and drop it on.. Then copy and paste into your whatever..

8)
Close the Windows, and open your eyes, to a whole new world

:D Hello,
#2.. "right click / rename / copy" prevents spelling errors..
Being dyslexic, it helps a lot.... :P
IE.. "right click / rename / copy "
Open a terminal.
"mksquashfs / L+R click (to paste into a terminal) Space / L+R click / .sfs"
Close the Windows, and open your eyes, to a whole new world

If your mouse has a scroll wheel, most of them also click as a center button which also pastes to a terminal :)
Download a better Computer :)

Alrighty then (as we say down South)

For netbook users who find that they can't get to the bottom of a guii window to hit the open/continue/enter whatever tab. This works in all Window Managers and Desktop
Enviorments.

alt+left click will grab your window and drag it anywhere, up or down, left or right.

For those running Fluxbox

left+right click or middle click on mouse on fluxbox gui window top tab. Drag it to other
top open tab on window that is open. Now you have multible tab/windows running in fluxbox.

Like Browser>Terminal>Geany>etc.........

For us guys not lazy but wary posting comments to Barry's blog
No edit and no preview there.

 Launch local pplog paste your comment and have sort of preview

In the light of this weeks forum outage a handy link to add to your bookmarks:

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ ... 8b4498836c

Plus…….infuriating if you were unaware of it:

SPACE-BAR to page DOWN
SHIFT + SPACE-BAR to page UP
Try it here and now :)
