I just created a new Puppy DVD based on settings and apps I installed on my system. The DVD works fine but I just need some clarification.
When I start up from the DVD and press F2 puppy pfix=ram, the dvd starts up displaying the correct way I configured my DVD before I remastered it. Everything looks fine.
When I startup the DVD and then get a list of the save files I can choose from, if I press 0 (none), I am presented with a vanilla Puppy desktop instead of what is actually burned on the DVD. Why is this? Is this not the same as selecting the puppy pfix=ram option I chose and was successful?

hi rmcellig,
given a choice puppy will read the puppy.sfs off the harddrive, as opposed to reading the new remastered puppy.sfs off the DVD.
hiding or renaming the puppy.sfs on the harddrive will solve this
