Can't Mount the drive used to boot Puppy

#1 Post by Vee727 »

Hey Guys, I'm a complete newbie and stuck on this one. I'm using a 4GB flash drive to boot Slacko 5.5. The drive comes up as "sdc1". When I click on it, I can view the files and copy stuff in and out but I can't mount the drive.

Also in mount option sdc1 is displayed with a lock icon. I understand this is the drive where the OS is loaded from and saved to but I was able to do it a few days back.

Please help. :?:

If you see the files the drive is mounted.

If gparted has a lock on the drive, it is mounted.

Inspiron 700m, Pent.M 1.6Ghz, 1Gb ram.
Msi Wind U100, N270 1.6>2.0Ghz, 1.5Gb ram.
Eeepc 8g 701, 900Mhz, 1Gb ram.
Full installs

Its got an orange box around it on the desktop. And I can't see the option to save a file from a browser etc. to sdc1.
