How to choose where Iron downloads a file is to?

#1 Post by ally »

hey guys

I have found a couple of hungarian puppy builds that are hosted on mega.co.nz

https://mega.co.nz/#!LwZHUIjK!MXGghk0Tu ... hVo6bzR9oI

the trouble is that although I have set the download location in iron to /mnt/sda3 it downloads to /root/downloads and fills the savefile

now these are big files (>2gb) and I know I could increase the savefile but want a 'right-click' type solution

if anybody has any ideas please let me know......

As to saving a file/download where you want it, if the link goes to a direct download of the file, just right-click on the link for the file and select Save As.
With that option, you can save it to any of your mounted storage devices in any directory you want including /mnt/home.

thanks all

mega only supports the chrome/chromium/iron browsers

no right click save as, that's why I was asking

I had set the download location in the browser but still went to /root/downloads, creating a symlink didn't work either - it's not a massive issue, just wanted to add the ISOs to the collection

thanks

:)
