kernel panic

Bonjour, j'ai un vieux IBM Thinkpad 570, n'ayant pas de lecteur disquette, cd et le boot sur usb étant impossible, j'ai utilisé un autre pc pour installer toutou linux 4.3.1 sur le dd. Sur le pc en question, toutou fonctionne. Quand je remets mon dd dans mon pc portable ibm, j'ai un message au démarrage du type "kernel panic not syncing vfs unable to mount root fs on unknown-block 0 0" Au démarrage j'ai accédé au grub et tapé Grub> setup(hd0) checking if /boot/grub/ stage1 exists... yes
checking if /boot/grub/ stage2 exists... yes
checking if /boot/grub/ e2fs_stage1_5 exists... yes
running embed /boot/grub/ e2fs_stage1_5 (hd0) 17 sectors are embedded succeeded
running install /boot/ grub/ stage1 (hd0)1+17 p (hd0,1)/boot/grub/stage2/boot/grub/menu.lst … succeeded done
Merci par avance, si quelqu'un peut se pencher sur mon probléme.

I got that same message earlier today with 5.6

I had got this wrong

initrd /Precise56/initrd.gz

je voudrais savoir ce que vous me proposez pour résoudre mon problème.
Je ne suis pas très compétent en informatique.
Je me demande si mon erreur est d'avoir utilisé un autre ordinateur pour charger toutou linux sur mon disque dur?
