Re: Hungarian language package & two small problems |
|
Én köszönöm!
I found two small problems:
1. Pmount start up, all right. Press the 'FRISSÍTÉS' ('REFRESH') button, Pmount switch to english language.
2. The jwm.po fully translated, but 'Layer' word in jwm menu are not hungarian.
Where is the wrong?

As for the pmount, the /sbin/pupevent_frontend_d has the code at line 728:
Code: | LANG=$OLDLANG pmount & #100613 fix from shinobar. |

Simple localization scripts |
|
Kon'nichiwa Shinobar!
3 small scripts, they are modified with your script. So they are to simple localization scripts:
glipper_shell, gparted_shell, mtpaintsnapshot.sh
Things are not great, but perhaps also can be used of other translators.

Hi:) is there a chance that you have made a language pet that would work with Lucid puppy 5.2.5-2.6.30.5(NOTE: 4.3.1 kernel), and give Danish keyboard and menu?
I'm having this big probleme since my friend who are going to use the pc with the Lucid puppy 5.2.5-2.6.30.5(NOTE: 4.3.1 kernel) installed(full install), don't know much english.
With kind regards and hope to hear from you

Is the information here still up-to-date?
I am planning to start translation as mentioned here: http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=75004

I was trying to translate without Puppy linux and now downloaded and installed using Virtual box. But when I try to open momanager, it shows an error message similar to:
"devx needs to be loaded"
I checked on repositories, but could not find it. What can I do?

You should do translations using momanager in Precise Puppy
since it is up-to-date.

Yes, Puppy Precise 5.7 is the latest Puppy build, and has the latest updates. You can get the ISO and devx files from here:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/quirky/precise-5.7.1/
You can load the devx_precise.sfs by Menu > Setup > SFS Load on the fly.
