tp link wn321g driver instalation Subject description: summary: adding new modules that are not preloaded on to the puppy linux
I'm using puppy linux 5.2.8 and my problem is connecting wirelessly to the internet. I have tp link wn321g and I have found modules http://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/?model=TL-WN321G&version=V1 on this site so my question is "How can I install NEW modules on the OS?" Do i simply put them into some folder. Also can I somehow download drivers from ubuntu repository?
doesn't work for me. i installed it and i get some error; now I have reinstalled puppy and now there are only 4 drivers on the list, tp-link device isn't detected and when i select some driver and click load module i get error:
Loading [name of driver] failed with the following message
FATAL. error inserting [name of driver] (lib/modules/18.104.22.168/kernel/drivers/staging/[name of driver]/[name of driver].ko . Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) Maybe try a different driver.
