"DHCP client failed to negotiate with wireless network"
It keeps giving me this error message every time I try to connect to my unprotected network, but this problem arisen when I came back from my other house. At that house I used a network connection that was WPA protected. I tried resetting my router and setting the security options to WPA and WEP but both don't work. I have no idea what to do and I really need help!

Hi and welcome to the kennels"lowpolygon" I cannot answer your query, but as a general rule of thumb you should supply more info i.e. what version of Puppy are you using; what sort of install you have (frugal or full) or whether perhaps you are running a live cd or usb key or some sort of flash card .That's how wonderfully universal this brilliant little distro is!!
Some sort of computer specs would also be helpful ,how much ram, what sort of processor etc.
This query would be better suited to the beginners section as well.
No offence is meant by my comments but they should help you get your problem sorted quickly as there are some very intelligent and very helpful members here.
