Hello Puppyians or Puppians,

I have been resting from Anitaos work and tried out running Slackware 14 on my AMD Sempron 3000+ with 1gig ram and found that Slackware uses a hell of alot of ram. I don't know if it is because I was spoilt by Puppy Linux in its various guises including Precise, Pup 4, Dpup etc in my playing around but found that ram use without programs was well over 100meg with plenty of swap.

So all I can say is I now have a better appreciation Puppy Linux in its various forms especailly the old school ones. So I guess to sum up this side of the fence is far better and I appreciate the streamlined simple approach of Puppy. Wink Wink Wink Smile Smile Smile Smile Smile
