Puppy 2.10 -> USB/Network Issues?

Good day... Here's the situation.... At work I use a MiniView 4 Port USB KVM switch for swapping computers...... Reciently I dloaded Puppy v2.10 and loaded it on my laptop via LiveCD.... Everything boots up perfect and there are no issues with anything until I configure my network......After I run the setup wizard and my network is up and running, my USB mouse is totally useless......when ever i move the mouse cursor, its very very slow......not smooth and responsive as it was before the network was configured.... I could not find anyway to modify the cursor movment.....Help? Thanks in advance....

Acutally i just swapped over to my other computer and when I switched back via the USB KVM switch to my laptop... I lost keyboard and mouse capabilities....so I dont think Puppy likes USB KVM switches... although I can plug in a thumb drive and its seen in the OS.... Not sure.. still a noob here... ...
