Security and bug-fix releases of Flash Player (with the preferences utility) for NPAPI browsers.
Also older Flash Player 11 and Flash Player 10 in case these work better for you.
I often see posts asking about how to install Flash Player.
Many Puppy versions have tools for obtaining and updating Flash Player. You should probably use these in the first instance if possible, but:-
For anyone wishing to install via a simple click of a .pet package here are a few you can use.
This version 10 is the last in the series, I find that browsers don't complain about this one being out of date. The version 11 may be the last in the series too. Adobe now produce NPAPI versions of the same number as the PPAPI ones. Some websites will refuse to play if they detect an older version number.
Use Puppy Package Manager to uninstall any earlier versions before installing one of these.
Just download the one you want and click on it to install it.
These can be downloaded from here:-

(You may need to right-click and save the .pet files)

Thank you very much, OscarTalks.
May I ask whether they work with all Puppies?
My primary one is Lucid Puppy 5.2.8-005.
Thanks again, Sheldon

Sheldon- by renaming, you can peek inside to see what's gonna go where.
Since I doubt directory structure varies much between Pup's, probably all.
Racy, Wary might be the exceptions as I recall they'll require extra libs..

Hello Sheldon,
As far as I know they should be OK in all of the current and recent 32 bit Puppies. There may be some exceptions. Working here in Slacko, Precise, Wary/Racy, Exprimo, Wheezy and Lucid Plus 5.2.8-005. Feel free to report any findings.

Thank you, OscarTalks and Semme.
I got the Flash Player 10, 10.3.183.61.
Did a fresh frugal LuPu 5.2.8-005, installed that pet, and set Opera 12.02 to load sfs on boot.
Works (so far, knock on head, cross fingers, etc).
Any idea why, in previous install, the pets I'd recently downloaded look like
Code: | 613523 2013-02-11 20:27 fbread~1.pet
8455 2013-02-11 19:20 getfla~1.pet

106647 2013-02-11 18:42 pmusic~2.pet

They were on a VFAT partition, which had never shown such behavior previously.
(oops. I'd recently started mounting partitions from
rc.local ; for some reason, it seems that I have to mount -t vfat , rather than just mount?)
Thanks again to you both.
Sheldon

Date 09th July 2013
Upgraded 11.2.202.291 to 11.2.202.297
See first post.
There does not appear to be an upgrade for the 10.3.x version this time. The Extended Support Release for other platforms has now gone from 10.3.x to 11.7.x but the bulletin does not mention anything about Linux users who can't upgrade to 11.2.x so we will have to see what happens.
I will leave the version 10.3.183.90 in the first post for now. It may turn out to be last in the series. I feel sure most users will find it satisfactory.

I often see posts asking about how to install Flash Player.
For anyone wishing to install via a simple click of a .pet package |
if you are using Slacko 5.3.3 (at least the way I use it)
Oscar's recipe solved a problem I had been dealing with for a long time in the blink of an eye!!!
Thank you Oscar!!

PS: I will keep FlashPlayer 11 11.2.202.310 .PET in a flash stick
