atouch / egalax touchscreen drivers

Hi,

I have installed slacko 5.5 - 4G Puppy Linux.

I have got atouch make touch screen Monitor with USB Controller which uses eGalax touch screen drivers. How to install the drivers & calibration utility in Puppy. Is there any PET available ?

The info that may be relevant for you is how to setup the Xorg config file (usually /etc/x11/xorg.conf) ..

However, what also may be useful are the commands for finding out which drivers you have installed..

modprobe, lsmod and others are useful tools for this..

Also, note the 'Puppy Search' link in my sig, below) .. It's very useful for searching for stuff (I didnt make it)..

EDIT:: NOTE!! Don't install the pets on that thread, they are for a different puppy, they wont work for you, even if they are for the correct monitor. .. but the thread may be useful in showing how to set it all up..

@Ravimodi, which PC are you using for your system. Is it 64bit capable?

There is one OOTB Puppy distro that has been found to work in some cases on 64bit PCs.
