placeholder for later later comments from me. I need to learn how to use all these music programs I have a midi file I want to be able to listen to so I have the motivation but are scared I screw up things and feel bad being a total loser Smile

Thanks for this pet, ttuuxxx.

I am playing with the old Pupitup version 4.1.2 and I couldn't get the sound out of TkSolfege because of the "fluidsynth: cannot find /dev/dsp" error. I figured that since the program was included in the iso, the OSS-ALSA thing would have been taken care of. Maybe I missed something but after I installed your pet and rebooted, I can hear the chords.
