I just searched the forums but to no avail, so here goes.

I booted up Puppy 0.98 from CD on a recently inherited Thinkpad I-series (vintage 1998) and was disappointed to see the built-in screen (LCD) resolution all mottled and grainy. This is my first experience with an LCD screen, so I clicked on a couple of the other available resolutions but readibility did not improve. Screen resolution is fine when running (yuk!) W98.

Any suggestions? I'll but it's something obvious I overlooked.

I think you want:

Start->Settings->Wizard Wizard

2nd one down, "Change the video resolution"
