Would someone please compile VMWare Tools?

Would somebody please get a Puppy Linux version of VMWare Tools compiled and working so I can run Puppy well as a virtual system? Thank you.


Yes, it runs well now but VMWare tools will allow things like drag and drop between the host and guest systems, more screen rezs and who knows what else?

I was able to install puppy vmware tools to puppy 2.11, you need a vmware server for that or use the workaround. I had some heck of a time getting Xorg to run, for smoother mouse experience.

You need to get the dev**.sfs
untar the vmware tools
and follow the install instruction.
There were some modules that did not work.
folder sharing and fastnetwork, but it seems to run fine without those things.
So far so good.
