hd install on laptop with 40mb ram? login required

i tried to install puppy on my old laptop with only 40mb ram.
my 1,3 gb harddisk isnt partitioned yet.
so if i boot up puppy, it doesn

Hi there - note that 64 MB of memory will be needed to run X. So if you have less than this, you need to use swap partition (will serve as additional memory), or install more memory Try this for more info about installation to hard disk
