I packaged this with a glibc 2.11 hack so that it runs in Carolina, it should also work in Wary though I haven't tried it.

Hi....

This is a .gz file, not a .pet, I can never get Xarchive to extract things properly, if at all! Are there any detailed walkthroughs on how to use this? :(

It must be the server as it is a pet file, just right click save as, that worked for me.

Cheers.

Thank you for your help but neither Opera or Chrome gives me the option to save as. :(

I'll assume that your using rox filer, you can just open a directory where you want to save a file and open a terminal there, you should find a option to do that in the right click, then in the terminal add this

Code: Select all

wget http://smokey01.com/carolina/pet_packages-carolina/xJigsaw-1.1.0.pet
that will download it for you into that directory.

Or you could simply get it from my dropbox.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/260 ... -1.1.0.pet

This has surely got to work now

Cheers

Thanks Geoff and webmayo - working great in Carolina 1.1 here! Nice running, polished game. Been years (decades?) since I've done a jigsaw puzzle... fun, fun! :)

Hi Geoffrey...

I think we're getting closer, I was able to install the game but received this error message when I tried to run it...

Code: Select all

# xjigsaw
/usr/games/xjigsaw/xjigsaw: /usr/games/xjigsaw/glibc2113/lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.15' not found (required by /usr/lib/libX11.so.6)
I'm running Precise 5.6.1, Is there a page on the forum where I can download this file? It's not available in the PPM.

Thanks! :)

The pet package it a hacked version to run in Carolina or possibly Wary, I made another that I tested in x-precise which is version 5.7.1, it works fine.

Try this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/260 ... recise.pet
