Macpup 550
MP550 comes with three screenshot apps. The e17 screenshot app is in the main menu as "take screenshot" this will give you a full screenshot that you can edit with mt paint. If you right click on the top window border you have the "take shot" option that will give you a screenshot of just that window. This option can also upload your shots to :

My fav is mtpaint-screenshot screen capture under graphics in the menu . This will also give you a full screenshot but it opens in mtpaint so you can instantly crop or resize it .
Also included is screeny capture windows app but I have never used it.

Sorry for bothering again but I am trying to figure out how can I select a small region screenshot with mtpaint-screenshot screen capture.I used before Carolina Linux and the screenshot option was way more easy to use.I dont want the whole window but just a small region to be able to upload it on prntscr.com.I dont know how to do this.
After you take the shot mtpaint will open . The area select option should be chosen already see my shot the red square on thew tool bar. Use this to select the area and then go under image on the top bar and select crop. you can "drag" the square by clicking and hold and move the curse or you can click once on the pic by what you want and click on the other corner of where you want to select then crop.

Gave Imago-red a whirl in my 529 install. Enlightenment modules for 529 and 550 I guess do not play well together.
No biggy. Just posting info. Enlightenment would crash and kill all modules in 529, I would re-add clock, ibar, ibox, backlightpager, shot, start, systray, wlan, tclock. Then crash e17 again with the red theme.
To be thorough I autostart and run conky also in E17. I am not asking for a fix. just posting info.

MacPup 550
Happy to have you back. I am a big fan of MacPup 550. Runs flawlessly on everything I've thrown at it, including 10 year old laptop and even my wife's IMac. One question, if you don't mind. PPM has an update for Precise. Should we install it?
