Try and get one with an Atheros chipset although it would be even better to get one with the same chipset as that in your usual router as that will give better performance.

No, not all. the TP-LINK Model TL-WN722N is one I know of that works with some puppies. haven't tried one on a lupu myself.

Hi...

According to Jades here, the Netgear WN111v2 should work with Lucid 5.2.8. You can purchase one here. Confirmed that the adapter pictured is the same one that is mentioned here according to the FCC ID number. :)

Hope this helps...

Possibly. From what I've read so far, you will need to install the driver from Tempestuous here. Hopefully, it will work without any further manual configuration changes. :|

Also, make sure your copy of Lucid uses the 2.6.33.2 kernel, otherwise it might not work. You can open a terminal and type in...

Code: Select all

uname -r

to find out. I'm guessing the ".2" at the end probably doesn't matter.

I have built a couple of drivers for ralink which seems to bring reliable results... they actually give you sources or you can get from thier website if there is not already a built driver here.
