Coccinella does not start

I installed through the package manager. He said that you need a bunch of dependencies and I deleted it.

Also I am sure there would be a tk/tcl package around ...easier to handle.

The coccinella portable includes it so even easier. Just seems the op is struggling.

pidgin dependancies...might be a false alarm..the package manager does that all the time...best is to install and then run and then if it fails remove it.

Pidgin I keep as a backup. I've got it worked without any problems on the previous system (Puppy/Lxpup_13.01-FULL).

I don't use jabber often now but was a coccinella fan plus it gives full jabber control which some clients do not.
