How to show splash screen image while booting?

hi, i'd like to know how to put a fullscreen image while puppy is booting with the option to go to the verbose mode

Unfortunately, verbose mode isn't possible yet. I'm really busy with college and all, but when I get the stuff I'm working on now done I'll look into improving Pebble. Verbose mode is the first thing I want to add, and then split-screen. After that I'll take a whack at animations, because that would be just plain awesome.

If you want a more full-fledged splash within a couple months, you'll probably have to patch the kernel. That's something this method doesn't require.
