[SOLVED] How to use Acer Aspire 5750 wireless?

Somebody please help me! after typing in the command:

lspci -nn | grep 0280

i got that my broadcom card was:
Broadcom Corporation [14e4:4358]

the next step i had to do was type the command from a temporary ethernet connection:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall bcmwl-kernel-source

the only problem i have now is that i cannot establish the necessary ethernet connection. please help guide me and my noobness

Uh, sudo doesn't work in Puppy because Puppy already runs as root. What operating system are you using?
