I have found some german stories here in the forum about something like this but I am Romanian and I am only good at English.
I have this 'Option' modem with a Qualcomm 3g cdma chip, that I can't get to work. I know my network uses UMTS 2100 MHz, has apn 'internet' and phone number '*99#' (in a neighbour's windows 7 pc it does not ask for a phone number).
I am attaching these photos:
1 - pgprs-connect statistics
2 - modem setup
3 - mageia control panel hardware info for the modem (I want it to run in puppy and browserlinux, I don't need it for the mageia PC)
In the 2g/3g area I cannot find the modem nowhere.
The PC that will use it is an 'atom 330' on its intel mobo.
I might also run another modem on another PC (same network and browserlinux, from what I remember it is an old Athlon), but I hope it will be the same as for this atom 330 PC.
