Lost applets in icewm, Slacko 5.7

#1 Post by Chili Dog »

Hi all,

Using Slacko 5.7, and am using icewm from the PPM. But I seem to have lost the RAM monitor, network applet, volume manager, etc, from the bottom right-hand corner.

Is there any way to get them back?

Thanks

When you switch to Icewm are you using this code at the prompt?

Code: Select all

xwin icewm-session
There is a different Pet for Icewm made by SFR.
You can get it here:

I used it on a full install of Slacko 5.7.0
It works and has none of your problems.

Make sure to use the above code to switch to it.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)

Thanks bigpup. Very nice, great themes.

I had to delete all of the old folders before everything worked right, but now everything's as right as rain. :)

Well, dang, it looks like I spoke too soon. I seem to have lost the picture for the volume applet - the applet is there, if I hover over it I can see the volume. Just no icon.
