Can't boot Puppy from USB Corsair flash Voyager

#1 Post by Raven »

Hi!

I downloaded the latest puppy ISO and burnt it on a CD and it boots fine onto my Compaq Evo N400C laptop. I decided to use a spare 128mb USB Flash drive (Corsair Flash Voyager) I had to create a USB version. I used the Wizard carefully and used all the default options but alas when I restarted I just get a line of text saying "Missing operating system". How do i get it to boot?

Corsair Flash Voyager USB drive WORKING

#2 Post by The Major »

I've just seen this - very late I know. I use a Corsair Flash Voyager 2GB USB drive, and I'm running 211 on it as I type.

I needed to format the drive to FAT 32 on a Windows PC using the driver disk that came with the drive, and then everything works like a dream.
