Hi I am running Puppy Linux 5.7.0 and am unable to connect with a Canon MF4880DW laser printer. CUPS apparently does not have drivers for this model (imageClass) of printer.
I tried installing nearly every printer on the CUPS/Canon list but none worked.
For now, I would be satisfied with printing capabilities now and scanning later.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Unless someone else gives you better advice, I happened to find this thread on the Mint forums that might help you out concerning your printer. The driver the OP mentioned on that thread can be found here.
There was also this thread that seemed to confirm the same thing.
