Can't boot Lucid 5.2.8.005

#1 Post by MrAccident »

Made a frugal install.
When booting - I get this text in the end (I don't see the first letter(s) so I've put three dots):

Code: Select all

...eee 0> find--set-root /grldr
...eee 15>grldr
...eee 17> _
In the end it's the blinking underscore.

Hi MrAccident,
Did you originally download Puppy 5.28 and burn to a CD?

Or did you install to a USB Flash Drive? If so, how did you do that?

When installing a Bootloader, did you use Legacy Grub or Grub4Dos?

Also please post your computer specs:
- CPU information
- RAM
- Hard Drive size and amount of free space
If it's not Backed-Up, then it isn't really yours.
You just think it is.
