Hi
I am looking for a thin series 1 Puppy WITH XORG and the basic linux stuff, but very little else (basically a nice small usr_cram.fs) - can anyone recommend one?
It would be a great help!
Thanks
Best "thin" series-1 Puppy with Xorg = 1.08?

emptycrust from Pizzasgood.
Hmm, I get internal server errors there, sent Ted Dog a message about it.

barebones or emptycrust
Get one of the barebones or emptycrust by Pizzasgood, then ask around how to add Xorg to it. There is a pupget repository linked to http://forum.puppylinux.net of version1 packages, but I can't see Xorg there (it must be there as components).

the full xorg (X11R7 from Puppy since 2.10) is here:
http://puptrix.org/isos/Puppy-2.10-Alpha/X11R7/
You had to rip out things not needed.
A older version compiled for Puppy1:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=2303
I made it, before Puppy1 had xorg. That version is slighly newer than xorg 6.8.1 finally used in Puppy1.
A custom version of Xvesa is here:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=4082
But xvesa has several limitations and supports less graficscards.
Development for it stopped.
