Xine Website http://www.xine-project.org/

I remember when xine came as default in puppy i hated it back then but times have changed and xine rocks now and works great on lower powered systems. VDPAU is working good for those of you with nvidia and vaapi for others.

xine-lib-1.2.4-i686.pet Download (I had to upgrade libbluray to get it to compile right) libbluray-0.5.0-i686.pet Download (libbluray is not needed but you may want it)

To be able to use the library here is a great media player and plays DVD's best from others i have tried.

xine-ui-0.99.8-i686.pet Download

(for a music player i will upload gogglesmm with static fox-1.6.49 in a little wile) The above pets where compiled and tested in precise 5.6.1 may work in others

If you want DEV,DOC or NLS pets they are all in my repo. Everyting needed to compile is also in my repo
Link to my repo https://www.mediafire.com/folder/cc4nim ... cise_5.6.1

Xine0.99.6 reads .ogv files, with audio

Xine reads .ogv files, with audio.
And is useful in puppies where Gnome-Mplayer is not installed. Xine does it better than VLC.
I can save ogv video before drec 2.1 tries transcoding to avi -(process fails but delete the ogv file)

Xine0.99.6 replaced in my sulu super Lucid by 0.99.8 Merci monsieur
