When I can see that's user "smokey01" uploaded a Hybrid Wine with a 32bit But that's too old... (He's have a 1.7.21,Today is a 1.7.30 - But that's not bad... Important is hybrid. But that's a useless if be want a Newest version...)

.SFS Changes: Replaces old wine-gecko for New (as to be can Read at a Official Notice.) and Shortly command instead of with"--x-includes=/usr/X11R7/include --x-libraries=/usr/X11R7/lib" Now instead of long command from version2013's That's added at "--libdir=/usr/lib64" [Maybe that's a very shortly compile...] - Addition X11's is not depend because on Newest FatDog64 it's doesn't included at "X11R7" Folder... [When for now that's is skipped...]

Comment from My Side:
Well... My build are be so much quicker... My version for Newest FatDog64 was a 22:08:16 at UMT +1 (in a Wine Release) but at 32bit version by version2013 was a 22:51:24 (in 25/11/14)... But version2013's is a Pretty good too... But It's a good if he would be location at a Wine64 (as My build)...

If the files are useless do I need to download them? And why did you fix them if the files are useless? :?:

1. No,That's a optional if are be doesn't works as a Native SMPlayer (Portable)... (If a after .sfs Standard load are be maked then be must be rename from .wine to .wine-lite - if not... You can use with .txz files. - Same as a be have a My Version but with a Full function.)
2. In a previous .txz (as 1.7.31) are be located a /usr/lib/usr instead of /usr/lib64... When in a 1.7.32 are be fixed around...
When if you want... You can download at a "Optional fix"... No problem at all...

I installed the latest. I noticed that there is a symbolic link in the archive called:
usr/sbin/taskmgr

that points to something called winewrapper. I can't find winewrapper in the archive.

BTW how do I run wine? I installed it but have no idea what to do with it.

I knew that much but I have no idea how to do so. Any good tutorials, or quick start guides?

Edit: Since the last install didn't work from me I think I'll try instead downloading the binary from the official site:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wine/fi ... 39/x86_64/

Edit 2:

So from the above link it said it installed correctly however, when trying to run wordpad I get the error:
"not an i386 ELF binary... don't know how to load it"
when trying to run wordpad.exe

From the discussion:
https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=12127

the probably could be that I'm trying to run a 32 bit binary. My system can't even read 32bit binary. It says it can't find them. I think there is something called:
"32 bit compatibility SFS"
that I'm supposed to install for Fatdog to get this to work. Where can I find this SFS?

Wine64

#17 Post by gangalee »

Can anyone provide a working example of Wine64?
Another Wine forum says it really doesn't even work.

Does anyone here have an .exe or program that can be successfully installed so I can see this program in action?
