How to scan a document with HP f2480?

I'm using Slacko 5.9.3 and have downloaded the appropriate drivers (both scanning and printing) for my HP f2480 printer. The printing facility works perfectly but as I haven't used the scanning facility yet, how do I carry out that operation please.
