#1 Post by trio »

Hi,

This is DUPLIPETS, Utility to create ONE PET/SFS from installed .pets
Useful if you want to create/upgrade to a fresh puppy, but wanting to bring along your installed apps
Menu entry is under utility. You'll be guided through the process. There's a cancel button in every pop-up dialog, you can watch all process.

warning: compatibilty of sfs is not related to this app

Does not support pinstall puninstall script

Enjoy

v 1.2 : checkbox added, option to include/exclude pets

Sorry,

I don't want to be offend or to diminish your effort etc.pp.

But I think, nothing can beat/touch this.

Ahh there's one already, does it make sfs?

I'm sure yours is better, as you said, nothing can beat or even touch it :)

this app will not offer complicated options, like adding built-in apps which is not inline with the main purpose (pets that you installed in current setting "to be brought along")

No, it can't create SFS.

But you could brobably beat it, though.

Grab it and add SFS ability. Since I have already used gnewpet heavily I will promise to increase its use, if you do add SFS ability! :D

I love the way you all come up with new little tools or improve already existing ones.

Thanks.

what if there's an option to choose which installed pets to include (or all), would it be helpful?

I'm not sure if Gnewpet does that. I think it only takes the one file without the dependencies. That may be a nice touch.

Is there a utility like this (for user and built-in pets) for non-woof based puppies like Puppy 412? Would also be great if it could grab all necessary dependencies for a specific pet if required.
