sh: error while loading shared libraries: /user/lib/libreadline. so.5: invalid ELF header
Kernel panic - not: Attempted to kill init!

Happened on my desktop and laptop.
Any advice?

That sounds as tho you may have a corrupted download, I'd try redownloading the iso and burn another copy and try again.

I can confirm that it was a bad download.

If the bug testers are interested - my USB mouse and Ethernet wasnt detected. I had a little look around with the keyboard though.
Tested on http://www.asrock.com/product/K7VM2.htm

Also...
It failed to boot on a DELL Laptop (Latitude 128mb Mem) and Fujitsu Laptop (Lifebook C325 160mb Mem) after picking the lite desktop part of the boot.
