Firefox ESR 24.6.0 is not supported by Youtube for uploading videos.
I will update it, but 105MB is a lot for my old computer...

I'm a wee bit confused here..... I'm not quite sure why you felt the need to compile Firefox 35.01 for Tahrpup!

I have FF 35.01 on Tahrpup, and didn't have to do anything special to get it. I merely installed the FF from Quickpet (FF32, I think).....brought the Menu Bar up, went into Help>About, and FF immediately checks for a new version.....and installs 35.01 for you.

Well; it DID for me.....(?!)

because i wanted cpu optimizations.
in you firefox type about:buildconfig and check it against mine from pic above.

my firefox is optimizations for speed because of this option --enable-optimize="-O3 -msse2 -mfpmath=sse"

and i have other stuff turned off like logging with this option --disable-logging.

there is other stuff but i dont want to explain them all.

my build of firefox is different then the standard generic build.

i compiled it for myself for my own reasons and just decided to share.

Oh, that's fair enough! I assumed you were talking about the bog-standard, generic version. I certainly didn't intend it to sound like a critique; no, I was genuinely curious, that's all.

Mine's just updated to 36 this morning. I can't get my head round just how quickly Mozilla (and Google, for that matter) update their browsers...

Anyway, I understand you've provided a lot of goodies to the members of the forums, so.....it's not MY place to criticise!
