linssid and kismet

#24 Post by Wognath »

Here is an sfs of linssid, a nice graphical wireless scanner. It's huge because it contains a lot of Qt libraries. I made an attempt to include only what's necessary, but it could probably be made a lot smaller by someone with more knowledge :/ Includes iw.
linssid sfs 17M, md5sum 7f7f31c0e9fe0bcbba075310186f9d99

Also kismet, a console-based "802.11 layer2 wireless network detector, sniffer, and intrusion detection system." kismet.txz 1M, 3.8M installed, md5sum 2e3bab3003f812b53d98cecdaf5117b1

Tested in FD700b2
Edit: link fixed

i'll throw 25$ in your face if you bundle up a SFS of emulators including NES, SNES, N64, PS1, and GBA. :P

for some reason i can never build emulators and get them to work without crashing.

NES: I tried fceu_0.98.12-4.1_amd64.deb from pkgs.org and IIRC was ok, however didn't try its frontend - gfceu (relies on python/python-gtk2).

PS1: I compiled pcsxr some time ago - compiles and works just fine, here's txz package (BIOS not included):

Re-uploaded after one download. Sorry 'bout that...

SFR, I could use a little help if you have the time.

I've installed Yweather for my neighbor.. It created three "Personal" entries I'd like to remove from the menu.

Now thanks to MochiMoppel, I've been through this in my head. :D Trouble is I can't locate the correct  memory.

Would one of the involved parties please.. refresh my memory.

The less they have to click, the better.

Overall, I know I've matched the system to the user.

Clean, *zimple* --unt.. Efficient. Yah! :P

This may be useful if you make packages for FD700.
http://smokey01.com/fd700/packages/sdc-2.0-x86_64-1.txz
It's a simple GUI to create slack-desc files.
Just type sdc from inside your package install directory.
Allows cut and paste and conforms to the slackware standard.

Hey Semme

Menu entries are in /usr/share/applications/yweather-* and corresponding launchers in /usr/local/bin/yweather-*.
Here's more info on how to add/remove/modify locations: http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=83598.

Thank you SFR Sir.

I knew how to add locations, but didn't notice their matching bin files in the location you specified.

JB helped round out my initial inquisition.

Thanks too for those pkgs..

I have discovered another menu package called gtkmenuplus. It was inspired from myGtkMenu and is partly compatible, well the config file is anyway.

Homepage: https://sites.google.com/site/entropyreduction/home

As you can see from the images on the web page it has many benefits over myGtkMenu.

I made this package for Fatdog64-700 only. To activate the menu system, click the left mouse button.
Download here:
http://smokey01.com/fd700/packages/gtkm ... 6_64-1.txz

If you wish to uninstall it you can use Gslapt but you will also need to rename the file backup-rc.xml to rc.xml in /root/.config/openbox/

Enjoy
