Puppy Linux & music production

#1 Post by dustedwax »

Audacity becomes more and more powerful software. Almost all effects and processes are built in Nyquist (dialect of LISP) and it's easy to edit the existing and create new ones. Rumors say there will be spectral editing tool in Audacity 2.1, which is awesome!
Anyways... Here is my first track produced with Audacity under Puppy Linux (Tahrpup 6.0). Hope you people enjoy it!

Much smoother than the title suggests :)

Yes enjoyed that..... nice one.

We like to play with multiple vocal dubbing and stuff with audacity...using an older version simple because its faster to avoid excessive lag or skipping on our machines.
The kids also make soundtracks for their movies with it :)

Smooth! Lots of sound patterns of sounds occurring naturally in nature. Very nice original arrangement.
