Are you using Tahrpup PAE version?

Tahrpup is installed on what?

The save file is installed on what?
What format is the device the save file is on?
Are you making a normal save file?
What format is the save file?
2fs, 3fs, or 4fs?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.

Try making the save file a 2fs or 3fs.

Has Windows put anything on the usb drive?

Have you checked the drive using Windows chkdsk?

Do you see any error messages as it boots?

I used win7 to format the drive. I will erase everything off the drive and try 2fs next. No, I didn't see any errors.
