The link above is not for the average user, but it sheds a light on hidden services, and what is lurking in the shadows of the Dark Web. Since hidden services can be reached through Tor network only, it is a heaven for those who want to stay anonymous, but hundreds of .onion websites are booby trapped, meaning man-in-the-middle attacks can easily occur.

As to who spy on Dark Web users, it is the usual suspects : the underworld and some governments.

If you are planning to dip your toe in the Dark Web, you would be well advised not to do so, or be aware of the risks involved.
There are easy to find wikis on the dark web with links to safe onion sites.

Disconnect banned from Google Play Store

#22 Post by labbe5 »

https://blog.disconnect.me/disconnect-i ... r-browser/

Disconnect threatens the revenue source of Google, therefore it is banned from Play Store, but it is still available from the developer's website for Androïd devices.

Revenue source of Google is data collecting, so the banning is a testimony to its efficacy. Another testimony to its efficacy : Disconnect is the new default search provider on the Tor browser.

Firefox users can have it installed as an addon.

What is Disconnect saying about the partnership :
The Tor Project is a non-profit dedicated to research, development, and education about online anonymity and privacy. This mission is in alignment with Disconnect’s own mission to make privacy the default online, and our partnership with Tor marks a major milestone in achieving our mutual goals.

The story above is a testimony to the importance of privacy in our lives. US prosecutors wanted to prosecute a man, charged to up-to 20 years behind bars, because of the content of his e-books. A judge has declared him innocent, and he was released immediately from prison.

I'm starting to wonder just what your motives are .Your English is just enough off to indicate a non-english speaking background and in Canada reportedly .Disconnect is for Windows users only it seems so do you have a linux source?
