phishing

#1 Post by labbe5 »

Phishing is the art of making emails or websites look legitimate in order to invite you to click on links they provide and to respond to their asking for personal information and passwords. Then they get control of your account, and if they are after money, you won't have any left in it.

Below are three examples of phishing, to help you deal with fake websites and emails.

Above is a link to a better understanding of phishing, in the hope you won't be the one giving your personal information and passwords to crooks.

So, how do you know all the sites, listed in a Google search, are OK?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
