Sound not working Lucid 5.2.8.005

I have flashed Lucid puppy 528.005 on a flash drive. The problem is that sound is not playing at all. No sound icon on the tray, alsamixer is not opening, alsa wizard unable to detect anything. Also I can't see HDD partition.plz help.

Are you able to launch retrovol program by typing in terminal

At first it was missing then I downloaded the pet file and installed it. Now I have a sound icon on the tray but with a cross on it. And yes I can launch it using terminal.
