"shockwave flash" installed but website says "no flash"
I run firefox 37.0.2 with the "shockwave flash 22.214.171.1245" plugin, but this website:
says there is no flash player and asks me to install.
Can someone tell me what's wrong here? Is this a firefox issue?
My guess is that it needs Flash 12 or higher, but Adobe stopped supporting Firefox in Linux except version 11.x (security updates only). You can use PPAPI version of Flash 19 from Chrome in Firefox using wrappers like Fresh Player but it's messy, better to ditch Flash and report issue to website admins to fix and only visit website after/if they fix compatibility
