To make Vietnamese Puppy, need "localedef"?

#1 Post by Guest »

Hi !

I want to make a Vietnamese PUPPY 1.04 live cd!

but I don't know how to, using en_US.UTF-8 for default Font (coding) ! UNICODE

The "localedef" is missing ? I'm not found it in Puppy CD! ("locale" is OK)

How to get "localedef" & set it up?

I am using Unikey for typing Vietnamese Font & Unicode !

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/unik ... .1.tar.bz2

Thanks,

localedef is in bash

type bash, and at the bash-prompt you have the command localedef.

I hope this helped you.

Hi Kark!

I remembered you have been working on remastering Puppy for Norwegian. Any luck with it? Can you share with us your progress?
Many thanks :)
