hello puppy users.

I present my new pupplet , "slackbox" based on slacko5.7.
this pupplet is a fork of puppylinux slacko5.7 and pretends to be friendly and clean.

I went to the OP d/l link. I see theres a Beta2 version thats 40Mb larger.

The larger ISO puppybox-2.0_beta1.iso (167.4 MB) is in fact Precise 571 based.
slackbox_beta1.iso is the correct one. Don't be misled by the name - no openbox, only jwm.

There is some confusion in what this distro is bringing to the table. Can the author clarify?

Questions

What machines and RAM is this distro's "minimum recommendation"? (this infomation probably should accompany every PUP distro release in its opening post)
Is this Slackware based or Ubuntu based or ??? Packages from which will install when needed?

Welcome brand new users on the forum

mtpaint , GDmap, Precord, ABiword, gnumeric re-introduced.
These applications are tiny... GDmap allows us to choose big and useless libraries to withdraw.I have no printer at home. If i Had one i could use Windows 7 to print my documents. Four years ago, i put the files on my pendrive to print them at my office...
Thin Slacko is free of print tools, that is one reason why it was sized to 100 MBS

ISO size Slackbox reduced to 95 MB plus 26MB zdrive by removing print stuff, DRI... and adding Firefox (3.6FR) abiword, gnumeric, peasywifi, MTpaint, precord
Compressed xz.

I wanted JRE (mounted as sfs) but something failed. I want Qt too.
french are 'gourmets'. I want to renew the menu.
